Description
This 60-minute session focuses on developing mobility of the shoulder joint, flexibility and strength of the upper back.
Begin with breathing awareness in the thoracic region and chest and shoulder opening warm-ups in a standing position to loosen up the body. Move into a kneeling position for cat and cow pose, extended child pose to stretch out the spine. You will then go into various back bending postures.
For deeper back bending poses, modifications are provided to help you relieve tension in the upper body as well as strengthen your spine. Neutralised by some twisting poses.
You will feel relieved and contented after the heart-opening sequence!
