Description
This core yoga class aims to strengthen the entire core area and help you develop stability through balancing poses. Suitable for all levels.
Begin with a warm-up of the arms, shoulders, and upper body. Standing poses such as the warrior II, goddess, and one-leg balancing side stretch help improve body coordination and develop stability. Seated poses like the boat pose—with the upper body leaning back—help engage and strengthen the core muscles. The class ends with gentle twisting to release tensions in the body.
During this class, you will learn to engage and control your whole midsection, including hip flexors, abdominals, obliques, lower back, glutes, and hamstrings.
