Description
This is a 60-minute back care sequence that combines stretching, strengthening, and core-focused exercises.
Back pain can be caused by many reasons such as past injury and poor postures, while lacking of core stability is one of the common problems people have. Therefore, it is important to strengthen the core to help prevent and relieve back pain. When we talk about strengthening the core, it includes the front, sides and back area muscles, as well as the glutes and legs.
Begin with dynamic warm-ups, and spinal movements to release tension and create space in the body. Followed by movements in different positions such as standing, seated, prone and supine that offer more options to target the entire core muscles. Modifications are given to work the core safely without causing irritation or discomfort to the back.
