Description
Half Noose Pose is a gentle seated twisting pose. This pose stretches the spine, stimulates the abdominal organs and improves digestion.
Preparations of the pose include external shoulder rotation stretch, seated twist, locking around the thighs.
To go into the pose, sit with knees bent and feet pressing on the floor. Rotate the trunk to the right, left shoulder around the right knee, and left elbow out of the right leg. Keep the spine erected.
Variations can practise the pose by binding the hand under the thighs or binding it across one extended leg. Both palms can be press against the wall to prepare oneself for a deeper twisting.
